It was at the age of twelve, just prior to His bar
Mitzvoth during the festival of Sukkot at that same year, the
young pubescent Jewish male, Yahshua (Jesus), went as a Jewish adult
male to worship in the temple at Jerusalem during the greatest
festivals of the Jews, Passover. With the estimated date of birth of Yahshua
at 7 BCE,
his bar
Mitzvoth year would have been in the year of 6 BCE. During
this visit a very strange event occurred. The young lad, Yahshua, was discovered
at the temple in an intense Torah debate and dialogue in
the presence of the esteemed elders, rabbis, and priests of Israel.
The question, how did this occur and were there any adult
agencies that were responsible in this encounter
Luke 2:43 - 50 - “His parents
went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. And
when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem
according to the custom of the feast. When they had finished the
days as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem.
And Joseph and His mother did not know it but supposing Him
to have been in the company, they went a day’s journey,
and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances.
So when they did not find
Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. Now so it was
that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting
in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them
and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished
at His understanding and answers. So they saw Him, they
were amazed, and His mother said to Him, ‘Son, why have
you done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought
you anxiously.’”
And He said to them, ‘why
did you seek Me! Did you not know that I must be about My
Fathers business?’ But they did not understand the statement
when He spoke to them.”

What happened at this time? Just north of the
city of Jerusalem were the crossroads of the trade junctions
between Jerusalem with the rest of the world. Here was
the city of
Arimathea, the trade capital of Judea. This Judean
city is the same city as Ramallah is today. There is one difference. Arimathea was
a city of Jewish orthodoxy. Ramallah is the headquarters of the Middle East terrorist’s
nest established by the Father of World Terrorism, Yasser
Arafat. In this once Jewish city, Arafat founded
the Palestinian
Liberation Organization which today is the current Fatah Organization
under the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas. Here at the home of
Joseph of
Arimathea are now those who attacked the interests
of the entire western world with plane and cruise ship
hijackings in the 70s and 80s. Here at Ramallah, in ancient
Arimathea,
the Sunni
Muslim Palestinian people are today are the outcasts
by their own cousins in every Islamic country of the Middle
East; King
Hussein’s Jordan, King Abdullah’s Egypt, former President Saddam
Hussein’s Iraq, President Assad’s Syria, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Shi’ite Iran.
It was Joseph, the Prince Scion of David’s hereditary family
estate was located six miles north
of Jerusalem at major trading center of Arimathea located
at the trading route junction from the north and east. Here in the modern city of Ramallah, was
the home of Joseph’s mother, Rachel of Arimathea, the second wife
of the Prince of David and Jewish Nasi Matthat ben Levi, his father.
Nearby
in Jerusalem lived Joseph of Arimathea’s half brother, “Heli” known
in Jewish history as Prince Alexander III “Helios”. Heli was the heir
to the Hasmonean
throne for his mother, Queen Alexandra II ruled Judea in
the year of 49
BCE. He was the grandson of King Hyrcanus II of Judea,
the Hasmonean king, the 2nd time between the years of 63-49 BCE and
High Priest at Jerusalem between the years of 67-68 BCE. Heli was later executed
by King Herod in the year of 30 BCE under what was the suspicion of
treason to the Herodian government. Knowing the “signs of the times”,
almost every Prince of David was hunted and charged with treason
against King Herod except Joseph of Arimathea. Here was an internationalist
that was protected by Rome.

Mines worked since Antiquity by the Jewish Saracens that were Under the
Supervision of Joseph of Arimathea – Photo by Robert Mock
Here also were the international headquarters
of the shipping and metal processing industry that made Joseph of Arimathea,
the “rich
man of Jerusalem”, an internationalist and industrialist
that every Christian in the free world today should admire and
emulate. At this site of Ramallah should be one of the most revered sacred sites of Christianity. Instead of a terrorist
haven, this place should be a “sacred place” for the rising
forces of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel. Strange as
it may be, Vatican
Rome ignores this “sacred home” of one of the most famous
“councilors” of the Jews. The very man that made possible
the tomb for the Jewish Messiah Yahshua has been relegated
to the dusty shelves of forgotten history. This toxic neglect of literal
history was created by the early Roman Christian Gnostic Church
and today, “Roman
Christian History” is the official “Christian History”
accepted by Catholics and Protestants alike.
The Prince of David Joseph of Arimathea
is today recognized as the respected closest male relative
of Jesus; Yahshua’s
maternal uncle. He was also Yahshua’s (Jesus’) male guardian
and protector as a teenager when His father, Joseph the Carpenter
died prematurely. Always in the shadow of his famous nephew,
Joseph of Arimathea did not raise to the center stage until political
conditions forced him to break his anonymity after the execution of
Yahshua. Here in the biblical texts, we see Joseph requesting
of the Roman
Governor Pilate for the family rights to the body of
the slain Jewish Messiah.

This was legal in Torah and Roman law
but by the act of requesting the body from Pontius Pilate,
the Roman
provincial governor in which Joseph worked with officially
as a member of the Roman Provincial Council of Judea, cost Joseph his seat in
the Jewish
Sanhedrin. It landed him in the jail in the basement of
the Palace
of the High Priest, and made Joseph a
target of the wrath of “The Jews”, the official
name of the Sadducee High Priest Dynastic Family of Ananias the High Priest
and the high priest’s Mafioso styled henchmen under his rule. The Prince
of David, the Messiah
ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph) was hanging as an “accursed one”
on that “tree”
overlooking Jerusalem from the “Hill of Offense” on the Mount of Olives. He was
now to be placed in the family Davidian tomb with the assistance of
the famed Jewish
Pharisee Nicodemus.
Here now was the “Protector” of the early
Nazarene followers who were hunted and killed during the Sauline pogrom
against Nazarene leadership, headquartered at the “House with the Upper Room”
where the Jewish Nazarene Synagogue
was later located. Here was the first Nazarene “Apostle” who took
the message of the slain Jewish Messiah to the oldest sanctuary
of HaShem (God of Israel) where the Cymric Druids, on the Isle of Britannia were still
worshipping in its most pristine purity the spiritual life
religion of the God of Noah and Shem that was
later transferred to the isles during the days of the Patriarch Abraham. What was
even more fascinating was that they, the Druids, were now
waiting for the arrival of their “Messiah Jesu”.
It was at Ramallah, ancient Arimathea, that three times a year
became the last stop by the family of Jesus as they
traveled to the festivals of the Lord. In spite of the fabled
history of Yahshua as invented by the early Roman
Christian Church, the home of Jesus in the city of Nazareth was not a forgotten village
of peasants lost in Jewish agrarian society. This Essene town
had become the headquarters of the Jewish Resistant Movement
against the Romans in Galilee. This massive and powerful movement that almost
drove Rome out of Galilee was pioneered and led by none
other than the great uncles and cousins of this young
and prodigious student of the Torah, Yahshua (Jesus). He would someday
become the most
famous rabbi of Jewish history, but then he was a radical political
and spiritual rabbi, using the most powerful tools of peaceful
resistance, spiritual enlightenment and actively using the tools of
goodness and righteousness against the forces of evil.

Here in Galilee within the village of Nazareth
we find the family of the Messiah for the world, Yahshua
HaMaschiach (Jesus the Messiah). This was the home
of that quiet recluse of spiritual reflection living in the same
family headquarters of the most radial
revolutionary Jewish movement in the first century CE in Roman
Judea and Galilee.
The grandfather of Yahshua, and the father of Joseph the Carpenter
was the noted “Patriarch of Jerusalem” called Prince Jacob ben Matthan. He represented
the interests of Herod
the Great in Egypt in 30
CE
when he took a cohort of Jewish warriors to ally
themselves during the great war for control of the Roman Empire
between the forces of Octavian, soon to be Claudius Caesar,
against the military forces of the Roman Triumvirate Mark Anthony III in alliance
with the Pharaoh of Egypt, Queen
Cleopatra VII of Egypt
According to the latest genealogical investigations,
it was the widowed “Eastern Prince”, Jacob ben Matthan, who returned
to Jerusalem after this war with the custody of the “secret posthumous daughter”
of the Roman
dictator Julius Caesar of Rome and Queen Cleopatra VII of Egypt. When Jacob arrived
into the Jerusalem aristocratic world, he brought with himself his
new bride,
Cleopatra
of Jerusalem. Out of this union, came three sons, Prince Joseph the
Carpenter, born about 29 BCE, and his twin younger brothers, Prince Ptolas (Hebrew for the
Egyptian “Ptolemy”)
and Clopas
(Hebrew for the Egyptian “Cleopatrus”), born about three years later. The
latter, Cleopas,
was the uncle of Jesus who walked with Him after His death
and resurrection on the road to Emmaus.
Also at Nazareth we find the home
of Judas the Zealot, the first cousin of Joseph the Carpenter,
who was crucified in 4 BCE on a Roman cross by the Roman Governor Varus.
Judas the Zealot’s sons, Simon ben Judas and Jacob ben Judas were later crucified by the Roman governor Tiberius
Julius Alexander in 47 CE. Judas the Zealot was the son of
the even more famous Jewish resistant movement warrior, Prince Hizkiah ben
Matthan, the brother of Jesus’ grandfather, the Patriarch of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan. It
was Hizkiah
ben Matthan who would later be called in Jewish
history as “The Zealot”.
Jacob,
the Patriarch of Israel was executed
by Herod the
Great in the year of 23 CE. Jacob’s family, with the young
Jewish lad, Joseph
the Carpenter and his twin sibling younger brothers, along with his older half-sister,
Miriam, were all secreted out of Jerusalem. They were
taken into protective custody at the famed
fortressed citadel at Gamala
controlled by Prince Hizkiah “The Zealot”.
With
this event of the execution of his brother, Jacob, burning
and searing his mind, Hizkiah the “Zealot” took his brigade of Jewish troops, in
the year of 4
BCE, and revolted against the combined forces of Rome
and Herod the Great at the Roman
fortress at Sepphoris in Galilee. There Hizkiah was executed
there by the Herodian Military Tribune.
Let us now consider how this political
uprising in Northern Galilee played out in the geo-political
stage in Rome
and nearer in Jerusalem, the Jewish capital of the Roman
Province of Judea. Sepphoris was only four miles away from the Essene hamlet
of Nazareth,
the home of Prince
Joseph and Miriam during her prenatal months before traveling
to the “city
of David” to attend the festival of Succot in the year of 7 BCE.
Now when Yahshua (Jesus) was only three years old, in the year
of 4 BCE,
the Northern region of Galilee
was inflamed in revolt. The paranoid dementia of Herod the Great
was peaking as the Jewish resistant movement Davidian rebels
revolted in Sepphoris, burned down the Roman garrison and killed
many Roman soldiers. The banner was raised for a new Theocratic Jewish State
of Galilee under the rule by the Prince of David as King Hizkiah “The
Zealot”.
Prince Joseph and Miriam were still living
in Bethlehem at this time, just as notable emissaries
called “Magi”,
from the east
in Parthia
where the ancient Lost Tribes of Israelites ruled. They arrived
unexpectantly in Jerusalem and stirred up the entire city
inquiring about the “birth” of the new “King of the Jews”. Just
months before King
Herod’s death in 4 BCE, Joseph and Miriam were now living in a “house” in
Bethlehem.
Matthew 2:1-2,7 - “Now
after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of
Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem
saying, ‘Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have
seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.’ …Then
Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them
what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem…and
when they had come into the house, they saw the young
Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped
Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented
gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
Herod, in his twilight hours of life, was fighting
the revolt of his entire reign up in Galilee. This region was
also the home
of the most radical of the Orthodox Jewish Zealots of Judea,
the uncles and cousins of Prince Joseph the Carpenter. The town of Nazareth
was now the focus of the wrath of King Herod’s military
intelligence services. The intelligence agencies of King Herod
that kept all the Davidians that were potential rivals
to the throne of King Herod under surveillance were also aware
and silently observing the family of Joseph
and Mary. They
thought they were living in obscurity in a small home in Bethlehem.
What they may have not know was that Prince Joseph the
Carpenter’s family relationship with the Zealots of
Sepphoris and Nazareth also put Prince Joseph under constant
surveillance by the long arm of the intelligence organizations
of King Herod the Great.
Sometime
before the death of King Herod in the fall of 4 BCE, the military
forces of King Herod were sent on a commando mission
to assassinate the new babe, the Prince of David Yahshua. Yahshua
was only three
years old. According to the biblical narrative, Prince Joseph the
Carpenter was given a divine warning of the impending
threat upon his life and his young son. In one swift
intelligence raid, two generations of Davidian princes would have
been eliminated. Was this warning by a supernatural angelic
messenger? Was this warning by a white cloaked Essene connected
with the strong and powerful Jewish counter-intelligence forces whose mission
was to protect any potential future messiah?
The Layout

The angelic message in a dream did not give
the name of the archangel so the cryptic message could
only be interpreted with one intent; the Sovereign God of Israel was in control and guiding
the affairs of His own people and the protection of His own
Messiah.
Matthew 2:12 – “Then, being divinely
warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod,
they (the Magi) departed for their own country another way.
Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared
to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child
and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring
you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy
Him.” When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by
night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death
of Herod.”
As such, Joseph, along with his
wife, Princess
Miriam and the little boy, Prince Yahshua (Jesus) were spared, when
Herod’s forces entered Bethlehem, because they were
already safely in the protective custody in Egypt.
The rest of the babes
in Bethlehem
did not share the same protective fate. Herod
the Great
was
retaliating with his wrath against the Davidian Zealot family of
the former and now executed Patriarch
of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan, the Davidian Zealots of Northern
Galilee, Prince Hizkiah and Judas of Galilee, and against one
family, whom Jewish intelligence knew, clued by the visit of
the Three Magi from Parthia in the East, the family of Joseph
the Carpenter,
who was
still residing in Bethlehem, the family homestead of King
David.
What King Herod’s
intelligence did
not consider, was that the “Rich Man of Jerusalem”, Joseph of Arimathea, who had one
residence
in Jerusalem, another in Arimathea, may also have had
another residence and no doubt business relationships in Marmorica
in Egypt. This
identity of Joseph
was known as testified by the 6th century Cymric Celtic
Druid bard, historian and philosopher, Maelgwyn of Avalon:
Maelgwyn of Avalon – “The Isle
of Avalon greedy of burials…received thousands of sleepers, among
whom Joseph de
Marmore of Aramathea by name
entered his perpetual sleep. And he lies in a bifurcated line
next the southern angle of the oratory
made of circular wattles
by 13
inhabitants of the pale over the powerful adorable
Virgin.” (W. Raymond Capt, “The Traditions of
Glastonbury” pg. 51)
Though this meaning
is obscure, we
are given a clue of Joseph’s potential business interests
in the region of Marmorica in Egypt. Could this place
in the Roman province of Libya in Northern
Africa
at Marmarica give us new insights? Could it be in this region
is where Joseph of Arimathea’s Mediterranean sailing fleets were docked
in the harbors along the Libyan coastline of the southern
border of the Mediterranean Sea. Here at Marmorica was the former
homeland of the Hamitic descendants of Naphtuhim, the 4th
son
of Mizraim,
(Genesis
10:13)
who along with Cush, Phut, and Canaan, were the four
sons
of Ham,
the son of Noah.

Avalon where Joseph and the Twelve Apostolic Refugees lived and worshipped in
their Jewish Nazarene Synagogue – Photo by Robert Mock
The identify of
Marmore may even be more enigmatic for in Hebrew, the
words “Mare Morah” have the meaning of “Lord
Dread” or “Dreaded
Lord” which may give
indication of Joseph’s positions of Roman, Jewish and British
power and authority. This alliance or collaboration with the Romans
by a Prince of David on Miriam’s side of the family may have placed
him on an alternate political path than the Jewish
Resistant Movement
by the Princes of David that were cousins and uncles of Joseph and his
adopted son, Yahshua.
This epithet as “Dreaded Lord” did have one
effect; it allowed Joseph to walk freely in Jewish, Roman,
Grecian, Egyptian, and Cymric British lands and their related
political circles.
The last
consideration
for “Marmore” is that it means, “Marble” or “quarried
stone”.
Could this designation also be an identity as to Joseph’s international
role as a mining merchant whose authority extended over quarrying
land along the Cornwall coast of Britain for tin, antimony,
silver, and lead?

Here we have two
critical events
in Jewish history, the flight of Joseph, Miriam and the babe Messiah Yahshua were
moving swiftly south of Bethlehem towards Egypt, while to
the northern regions of their former home in Nazareth, the
great uncle of Yahshua, Hizkiah the “Zealot” and his son, Judas
of Galilee the “Zealot” were revolting at the Roman Fortress at Sepphoris. There
they were crucified by the Romans along the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
All of these events suggest the divine insight that the hand
of Joseph of Arimathea had a role in securing a haven
of safety for his Davidian nephew from the paranoid wrath
of King Herod. Was it he, who provided the proper
accommodations and safety in the perilous journey between Judea
and Egypt, whether by land or sea?
The life of Joseph of
Arimathea also left strong traditions that suggested
that he was a secret member of the radical Jewish Pharisee offshoot of the Essenes,
whose religious identity may have been closer to the disciples
of Menahem the Essene and the Nasi of the Sanhedrin Hillel the
Great.
It was they, who fled from the radical conservative wing of the Pharisees
in 10 BCE
when Shammai the Great and his disciples of Beit
Shammai
(Torah Yeshiva (Seminary) of Shammai) took over the power of
the Pharisees in the synagogues and educational systems of
Judea. This also caused the death of many of the disciples
of Rabbi Hillel,
when the
Prince of David Shammai the Great forced his election in the position as
the Bet Av Din of the Sanhedrin, ousting Menahem
the Essene,
and eventually taking total possession of the role as the President
or Nasi the Great Sanhedrin when Hillel the Great died
in the year of 10 CE.

The secret society of the Essenes was waiting for
the apocalyptic return of the Jewish messiah and was using
their influence to hasten the Messiah’s return. The messianic
ministry of Yahshua was of great importance to the Essenes.
After Yahshua’s death and resurrection, it appears that the
majority of the new 5000 plus new adherents to the Jewish
Nazarene Party
in Judea came in large proportion to the switch of the
allegiance of thousands of Essenes to the Nazarenes.
This same phenomenon was also played
out only years later on the Isle of Britannia where the priests and Arch-Druids
of Druidism rapidly transferred their allegiance to
the emissaries of the Messiah Yesu they had been anticipating
for centuries; the messianic hope of the ancient
proto-Hebrew faith
of their forefathers; the Patriarch Noah and the Righteous
King
(Melchizedek), the Ancient
of Days as the Patriarch Shem.
On the other hand,
the conservative and isolationist attitude of the Pharisees
of Shammai
sought to harden the attitudes of the Jewish people
to hate and resist the political authority of the Romans.
Their history suggested that their provocation inflamed the attitudes
of the mission of the Zealots in order to enhance their own
power and authority.

The day will soon come,
when the fame of Joseph of Arimathea will resound
around the world by the sages and esteemed rabbis of Jerusalem along
with the returning leaders of the Lost
Tribes of the House of Israel.
When Ephraim returns home and the House of Joseph is once again
back in union with
the House of Judah, the home of Joseph
of Arimathea
in modern day Ramallah (Ancient Arimathea) will become a “sacred place” for the entire
House of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Excavations will be done to recover
the ruins of the “rich man of Jerusalem” who as an orthodox
Jew was an esteemed elder of the Great Sanhedrin, was also
the guardian and Torah giant that personally instructed and introduced
Yahshua (Jesus) to the sublime truths of Torah. He was also
instrumental in the history of the Lost Tribes for they soon
were to have a “Great Awakening” as they were in the process
of moving into their final homeland.
These migrating
Israelites would
find that their new homelands were preparing for the final
era when the planets and constellations that were aligned
during the “Age of Pisces” (the Fish Symbol
of the Messiah) at the birth
of the Messiah would usher in the two
thousand year era
when the Jewish Messiah would come to begin the search for
the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel”.
These two
millenniums
would end
with the reclamation of the Lost Tribes of Israel from their exile
imbedded in the 70 Gentile nations of the world. It would bring
forth the process of reunification, redemption, and restoration of all
Israel. When the “fullness of the Gentiles” had come and
it was now time to begin and move into the “Age of
Aquarius”,
the symbol of
the “Water Pourer” as the Man holding a Pitcher of Water.
Here would be the day, when the Maschiach
ben David
(Messiah son of David) would be revealed as the One who
would proclaim, “I am the Spring of Living Water”. At this moment of
time, the
“Water of Life” will begin to be poured out upon
all mankind.
It was now ten
years later, (4 BCE to 6 CE) Joseph with his
family, living in the region of Nazareth, left the regional
headquarters of the Jewish Zealots of Galilee at Nazareth,
and returned again to Jerusalem. Little did they understand
the events that would come upon them? Their last stop before arriving
into the suburbs of Jerusalem was again at the trade
route crossroads at Arimathea. Did this young prodigious Davidian
prince stay at the family estate at Arimathea of his great
uncle, Joseph? Did Yahshua choose to accompany Joseph as he
also went to the temple for the Pesach festivals of the Lord?

Synagogue and nearby Ananias’ High Priest Palace – Photo by Robert Mock
For a twelve going on thirteen
year old Jewish male, this was an exciting year of His life.
He would get to go and visit with His favorite uncle. That
would have been exciting for it was Joseph
of Arimathea
who traveled extensively around the world. In His young heart, Yahshua (Jesus) was fascinated with
the legends and stories of the Lost
Tribes of the House of Israel.
Somewhere deep inside He knew that somehow His life and
mission would be tied to their ultimate destiny. Was He not a
Davidian prince? Did He not feel in His own heart that He
was not only on a divine mission of redemption and reconciliation
of His chosen people, but somehow He was beginning to
understand that He was a participant in the origination of
that “Great Plan of Restoration”.
Were not His uncles, Prince
Hizkiah ben Matthan
and his cousin, Prince Judas ben Hizkiah (“The
Zealot”) already dead for
insurrection in 4 BCE, against Herod and Rome? Were not His two
grandfathers, the Patriarch of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan and the High
Priest of Israel, Yahshua III, both executed in 23 BCE as plotting insurrections
against King Herod, when King Herod actually wanted the wife
of Patriarch Jacob, Cleopatra of Jerusalem, to become
the wife of his anticipated high priest appointee, Simon
IV Beothus?
This was a dangerous play
of fate and politics, but King Herod was desperate. Herod wanted to
elevate this unknown cousin of the High Priest Yahshua
III
to take the esteemed office of the High Priest. Why was this
to be? King Herod was infatuated. He felt that
he was in love with what he called “the most beautiful
woman in Jerusalem”, Mariamme
III,
the daughter of the man, Simon IV Boethus whom he intended
to make the High Priest of Israel.
So it appears that Jesus’
grandfather, the High Priest Yahshua III was also executed for collusion
with rebel forces in Galilee and Davidian princes who all
were seeking to topple the Herodian throne. Was it not
their mission to return the throne of King David to its rightful
rule with a descendant of King David?

In our best
comprehension of
the genealogies of Yahshua, the High Priest Yahshua III chose his third and youngest
daughter, Hannah (Anna) to be the wife of the Prince
of David Heli in
the biblical narratives who was known in Jerusalem
aristocratic culture as Prince Alexander III Helios, heir of the Hasmonean
throne. Prince Heli was executed by King
Herod the Great
for sedition against the throne of Herod and against Rome
in 23 BCE
The High
Priest Yahshua III
also chose by divine intent that his second
daughter, Elizabeth
would be married to the Levite priest, Zacharia who was of
the priestly order of Abijah. Zacharias would later be beheaded by King Herod
as early as 4 BCE,
with only one possible motivation for his involvement and collaboration
with the Jewish Zealots in Galilee. Was it to be a coincidence
that his death was at the same year as Hizkiah and Judas the Zealot’s
revolts in Sepphoris and Northern Galilee in 4 BCE? Three
years
before, Zecharia became the father of John
the Baptiser
in the same year that Joseph the Carpenter became the foster
father of Yahshua. Now in the year of 4 BCE, Joseph
the Carpenter
was on the hunted list of Herod the Great as his family
was tied to the Galilean Jewish Zealot insurrectionists and their revolts
by the uncle and cousin of Jesus (Yahshua) and executed
as an insurrectionist against the Herodian throne? As a Jewish
martyr, Zecharia was buried with the remains
of Simon the Just in the Tomb of Absalom. As BibleSearchers
wrote:
The Tomb of Absalom identified as the Tomb of Zacharia the High

BibleSearchers – “In the writings
of Flavius
Josephus, a Zacharia is mentioned as one of ten Jerusalemites who were put on trial, his head was severed and his
body
was thrown into the Valley of the

As noted in the inscription by quoted by Eusebius above, the
same treatment was given to James
the Just, the brother of Jesus, who was stoned,
clubbed and bludgeoned to death and his body was thrown over into the Kidron Valley below.”
We now know that
the High Priest Yahshua III gave his third daughter, Jo(Anna), to the last
prince of the approved Jewish descendants of King David of
the Onaidites, the Prince of David, Joachim.
Prince
Joachim
had three daughters; Escha, Salome, and Mary
Cleopas.
The Early Roman Orthodox Church Fathers confused, deliberately or
not, Jo(anna) and H(annah), both of which could have
been called “Anna”, the grandmother of the Jewish
Messiah Yahshua.

The sons of the Levite

and Prince Joseph the Carpenter would be thrust into the same
demonic political brew. John the Baptiser, the son of
the Priest Zecharia and whose mother
was the daughter of the High Priest of Israel, as a Levite would
be beheaded by King Herod Antipas when he dared
to criticize the immoral relationships of this King of the
Jews. Prince Yahshua would be executed by the Sadducee
priestly family of Ananias and his son-in-law, the High
Priest Caiphas,
when Yahshua (Jesus) challenged the immoral use
of the Temple of the Lord to be used as “den of
thieves”.
The young Davidian prince, Yahshua, at the age of twelve, was preparing
to into the sacred premises of the temple of Herod,
where only Jewish males were allowed to go. There he could observe
the great festivals to the Lord. He was in preparation for his bar mitzvoth
that would arrive six months later on his thirteenth birthday at Sukkot in the
fall of 6
CE. This would be a period of His life, in which education
was paramount. He would have to show the extent of the maturity
of His life and the understanding of the Torah in which he
had learned so far in His childhood.

This profound event in the life of Yahshua came
the year of 6
CE. Jewish Zealotry appeared to
have been finally exterminated. It appeared that the Jews
were on the road to pacification by the Romans. In the year of 6 CE,
Yahshua entered Jerusalem to participate in His first festival of the
Lord. This was the same year that another
rebellion, a rebellion against Roman taxation. Genealogist David Hughes argues
for a more traditional view when he writes:
David Hughes – “The rebellion of Judas "The Zealot" "of Galilee"
(the son of Hizkiah "The
Zealot") in 4 BC,
and, the rebellion of Judas "of
Gamala" or "the
Galilean" (the brother of Hizkiah
"The Zealot") in AD 6,
are often confused in history, since the rebellion recorded in Acts
5:37 refers to the 4 BC rebellion,
and the historian Josephus refers
to the AD 6 rebellion, however, neither
mentions them both.
The
AD 6 rebellion took place the year
that Herod-Archelaus was deposed by the Roman Emperor due
to complaints about him, whose realms, Judea, Samaria, and Idumea,
were then annexed by the Roman Empire as the Roman Province of Judea. The rebellion was
suppressed by the Roman Governor of Judea,
Coponius, supported by Cyrenius
(Publicus Sulpicius Quirinius), during his second governorship of
Syria.”
As BibleSearchers quotes from its recent article
titled, “The
Legacy of the Jewish Freedom Fighters in the Ancestors of Jesus
the Nazaene”
BibleSearchers – “The third brother of Jacob
the Patriarch and Hizkiah the Zealot
was Judas the Galilean from Gamala who was living in a nearby
town of Gamala. It was Judas of Gamala
that raised a second rebellion and toppled the Ethnarch
Herod- Archelaus from the throne of Judea, Samaria, and Idumea in
the year of 6 CE.
This revolt
was harshly suppressed by the Roman Governor of Judea, Coponius, along with the Roman
forces that again came down from Damascus under the command
of Cyrenius (Publicus Sulpicius Quirinus),
the governor of Syria in that same year (6 CE)…

the spring of this same year (6 CE),
when Jesus’ grandfather’s brother, Great
Uncle Judas the Galilean from Gamala
effectively toppled the government of the Ethnarch Herod-Archelaus of Galilee yet was later
captured and executed by Roman governor of Syria, Cyrenius (Quirinus), the boy Yehoshua (Jesus) was heading to the Temple
of Herod for his first bar mitzvoth Passover celebration about the age
of 12-13 years of age (7 BCE to 6 CE). During that Spring
Festival Celebration, the young teenaged youth, Yehoshua (Jesus) was invited to a private
audience with the chief priests and elders of the Great Sanhedrin.
At this
same time, the Nasi or President of the Great Sanhedrin was Hillel
the Great. The newly inaugurated High Priest, in the year
of 6 CE, was Ananias the Elder, the Patriarch
of the future House of Hanan who would later meet Jesus with his
son-in-law, now the current High
Priest Caiphas in their Palace
in Jerusalem when Yehoshua (Jesus)
was interrogated after His arrest and before His illegal trial
by a later Great Sanhedrin in the year 30 CE. This illegal trial by Torah law was possibly
the last official act of the Nasi or President of the Great
Sanhedrin, the Davidian Prince
Shammai the Great before his death in the year of 30 CE.”

Can we not envision the great clash of purpose
and intent of those that met at that meeting? Momentous
decisions were being made on that fateful meeting between the
young Jewish
Prince Yahshua, as he engaged with the bright minds of
Judaism. Only then did He begin to understand the critical
importance of this meeting, when He said to His parents:
Luke 2:49 – “Why did you
seek me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s
business?
We have to ask, was Jesus’ great uncle, Joseph of Arimathea
involved in setting up this meeting? The date was 6 CE. The
two
authorized lineages of royal Davidian descent by the decree
of Ezra the
Scribe, that, “to be a Jew, your mother must be a Jew” were now
extinct.
The Meshullamite
dynastic lineage had centuries earlier split into the royal descendants
of the senior
Onaidite and the Tobaite lineages. By 4 BCE, the Tobaite
lineage had become extinct when one
of its two last heirs, Prince Simon V of Perea
revolted upon the death of Herod the Great and was killed
by the Herodian military forces. The last heir was Shammai the Great. For
one year
Shammai became
the Patriarch
of Jerusalem, and later for ten years served as the Bet Av Din of
Hillel the
Great’s Sanhedrin. He had now become the leading
Pharisee at
the time of Yahshua’s ministry in Galilee as he was
the founder of the Torah Seminary (Yeshiva) called
Beit Shammai. With the death of
the Pharisee Shammai, who had no eligible sons, the Tobaite
lineage had no potential heirs and became officially extinct.

Without the
crisis intervention by the Great Sanhedrin in the year of 37 BCE, the halakhic
approved Davidian lineages would have ceased to exist. With the Tobaite lineage extinct,
the Onaidite
lineage also ran out of male heirs. The last male
heir, Prince
Joachim had three daughters; Princess Escha (1st)
and Princess
Miriam (3rd) married the two younger twin
brothers of Prince Joseph the Carpenter of the Abiudite lineage
of Davidian princes; Ptolas and Clopas (Cleopas of biblical history). The 3rd daughter
of Prince
Joachim and JoAnna (Jane) married Zebedee, and became the parents of the
famous gospel brothers; Apostle James, who was executed by King Agrippa and
buried in the land of his ministry, Spain, and
the Apostle
John whose final act was the transcribing of the Revelations of Yahshua
(Jesus) in the apocalyptic Book of Revelations. The Abiudite princes were the descendants
of the Zerubabbel’s first wife,
the Babylonian
Princess
Amytis, who was the granddaughter of
King
Nebuchadnezzar.

Through the Torah honored provisions, called the dynastic
succession for a young royal princess who was the last heir of
her father’s dynastic family, these daughters could transfer
their tribal or royal inheritance if they married someone
within her own tribe (Judah) who was of Davidian royal bloodlines.
They could transfer their royal Solomonic Davidian lineage to
another Davidian lineage of non-approved royal bloodlines and
thereby transfer the royal inheritance to the throne of David
to a secondary Davidian lineage.
The second senior, Pelatiahite dynastic lineage
went extinct when its last heir, Prince Anthroges the anti-king
was killed in revolt with the Romans who were supporting
Herod the Great. His descendants fled and married into the Gallo-Roman
and the feudal French house of the Bourbons. Their lineage became
extinct.
The third senior Yeshaiahite
dynastic lineage never returned to the Jerusalem
Patriarchy for they remained in Babylon. There they kept an alternative
Babylonian
Exilarch lineage intact. Yet none of its descendants
were available in 1st century Judea to fight for the royal throne
of King David.
Joseph
the Carpenter was a Prince of David from the fourth royal dynastic lineage of the Persian Governor
Zerubabbel. This was the Abiudite
lineage through his grandfather, Jacob ben Matthan who became
the Patriarch
of Jerusalem. This same lineage also drew into itself,
the female dynastic succession and
the royal dynastic inheritance of the Ezra approved Onaidite lineage. That
left only fifth royal dynastic lineage,
the non Ezra-cleric approved lineage called the Rhesaite Lineage.
Prince Heli (Prince Alexander III
Helios) who on his mother’s side was the heir apparent
to the Hasmonean Royal Throne and on his father’s side was a Prince
of David from the Rhesaite lineage. Prince Heli disappears from
Jerusalem society during the dragnets and assassinations,
somewhere between 20–13 BCE, of the Princes of David by King Herod the Great. Heli
had only one daughter, the Princess Miriam.

Prince
Joseph of Arimathea, Heli’s half brother, also had only
one heir, a daughter, Princess Anna. As history
would portray, Joseph of Arimathea did eventually have a son, Josephes, but
at the 6 CE
Sanhedrin meeting with Yahshua
there appeared to be no other male Princes of David.
The Eternal
One appeared to have another plan. It appeared that the Rhesaite Lineage
would soon also become extinct. As we can see, at the time of
Yahshua’s meeting with the Great Sanhedrin, a momentous
decision was being debated. It was not who would be eligible
to sit on the Sanhedrin’s Seat of David, but would there be
any eligible Princes of David from the divinely appointed lineage
of King David
through his son, King Solomon, to ever sit on the throne of
King David? The answer was no!
This young prince, Yahshua (Jesus), who now stood before the great
elders and chief priests of the Great Sanhedrin was the only
Davidian heir, outside of a few scattering cousins of the Galilean
zealots, that was eligible to sit on the Seat of David
in the Sanhedrin. All the approved lineages by Ezra the Scribe
over three
hundred years earlier had become extinct. There were no
eligible heirs left that were of 100% Jewish blood lineages on
both maternal
and paternal
ancestral lineages. Yahshua was the only one eligible
to rule as a descendant of King David. For as history appears
to attest, Joseph
the Carpenter’s days were numbered.
On Jesus’ maternal side, Princess Miriam was the only descendant of the
House of Heli, Prince Alexander III Helios,
and Princess
Anna was the only descendant of the House of Joseph of
Arimathea, for there were no male heirs in either
lineage.
On Jesus’ paternal side of Prince Joseph, he had potentially one son, James (Jacob) who
would later be known as the “Just”. It would make
sense, that upon the death of Prince Joseph the Carpenter. With the death
of Joseph the
Carpenter, by Jewish law and by reason that almost
all the other descendants had been killed by King Herod the Great,
the fate of the destiny of this young Messiah would rest
in the hands of this righteous man or “just councilor”
from Arimathea. After this momentous day, the young Prince of
David, and heir to the mantle of the Messiah of Israel,
disappeared from written canonical history. What we do know is that during
these next two decades, between the years of the Passover 6 CE and
fall at
Sukkot, 26 CE, Yahshua appeared to have had a mandate
from heaven and a destiny as an “appointed one” to fulfill.
Luke 2:52 – “They He went down with them and came
to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these
things in her heart. And Jesus
increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God
and men.
The “silent
years” in the life of
Yahshua have been one of the most sought after mysteries in
the entire bible. After his bar mitzvah year Passover, the young
lad, Yahshua (Jesus), disappears from the biblical
record until He mysteriously reappears in Capernaum almost eighteen
years later.

It has been
traditionally assumed
that the Prince of David Joseph the Carpenter was born about
the year of 29 BCE. He was betrothed about 8 BCE to the Davidian
Princess Miriam
who was born about the year of 20 to 19 BCE as the daughter
of Heli the Prince of Israel. Prince
Heli
was of special lineage for he was of double
royal bloodlines.
He was
the Hasmonean heir to the Maccabee throne of Judea as Prince
Alexander III Helios.
Prince Alexander’s dual royal bloodlines also meant
that he was in double jeopardy against the long arm of the Herodian
assassins.
He met his premature
death in one
of the two potential Davidian pogroms between either
the years of 20-16 BCE or 17-13 BCE by King
Herod
hunting down to eliminate all political rivals. These young “lions” of King David
were seeking to restore the usurped royal throne of King
David from the Herodians. The young Princess
Miriam would
little remember her father, Prince Heli, for she was somewhere
between the years of one and seven
years
at
the time of her father’s death.
Yahshua’s mother, Miriam, was a prodigy of the Torah. Her
grandfather, Yahshua III, the high
priest of Israel was executed by King Herod in 23 BCE for
his alliance with the Zealot Movement in Galilee. Then came the stunning
death of her father, Prince Alexander III Helios for treason against the
Herodian state in 23 BCE. The orphaned child, Princess Miriam,
was taken into protective custody of the temple and there
remained under the watchful eyes of the Levitical priests as a “temple virgin”.
It was December 2007, when BibleSearchers Reflections posted an entire
series on “The Ancestors of Jesus in the 1st and 2nd
century Judea BCE.” In the article on “The
Political and Royal Heritage of Miriam, the Chosen Princess, as the Mother of
the Jewish Messiah”, this vignette on the now orphaned
young Davidian
Princess was written as she entered into the temple
culture as a “temple virgin” there within the Temple of Herod
in Jerusalem. As written:
BibleSearchers
- “As an orphan, Miriam was taken to the temple and lived as a
child protégé of her grandfather, in the custody of the temple
priests. There she was an eye-witness to the exaltation of
the divine ministry of the priests in the Temple of Herod. The
construction project to transform this ancient temple into the most
glorious temple in the entire Roman Empire by Herod the Great was started
just prior to Miriam’s birth in 20 BCE. This construction would
continue throughout her lifetime.

These were the tender
impressionistic years, where she witnessed the high priests
transported to the throne of the Almighty in the beautiful
and glorious temple rituals that commanded all the senses of the
beholder. If there was a young Jewish maiden, who knew
and understood the true halakhic observance of what Torah life
was like, it was the Princess Miriam. Surrounded by the priests
speaking Hebrew, listening to
the international delegations speaking Greek,
who came from nations around the world, and daily listening to construction
workers speaking Aramaic and the Roman
guards speaking Latin, Princess Miriam no doubt absorbed and mastered
the life of a poly-linguist. Here in the most awesome
monument of religious expression, Herod the Great erected his image
of religious power, as the Temple of Herod rose as the largest
platformed temple in the entire Roman Empire.
Like the Prophet Samuel as a child, who resided
in the sanctuary at Shiloh with Eli the
High Priest, so Miriam resided
during the reconstruction era of the Temple of Herod during
the high priest rule of the successor of her grandfather, Yehoshua
(Jesus) III, the High Priest Simon, the son of Boethus, between the years
of 23 to 5 BCE. This pivotal
reign of the high priest would span the final destruction of
the royal power of the Maccabee rulers and the semi-autonomous rule
of Herod the Great, who died in 4 BCE.
Princess
Miriam no doubt experienced the ecstasy of walking through
the courtyards of the temple. She was but an innocent child,
premenstrual without any tint of blood contamination, so no
threat to the sanctity of the holy temple. She became the icon
of the hidden cherub, silently witnessing, and always observing
and absorbing while she remained as a temple virgin until the
first day of her womanhood. When the taint of blood came
with her womanhood, she was forbad her to walk in
these sacred hallways again.
In
honor to her grandfather, Yehoshua
(Jesus) III ben Phabet, Miriam was a hidden treasure, living
a life of pure seclusion in the sanctity of the holy
temple until the day of her bat Mitzvoth or the onset of her
reproduction maturity. At that time, Matthias
the High Priest, her great-great uncle, the brother to her
great grandfather, Phabet ben Boethus,
sought a Davidian prince to be her betrothed husband. As a
Zadokian heiress blended with a Davidian prince, Miriam’s future lay
with the genetic merging as a Davidian Princess that carried
the genetic mantle of the high priest within her closely knit
bloodlines.”

Resurrection the Messiah will Return – Photo by Robert Mock
When that day arrived, it was important
that the young “temple virgin” maiden, Miriam, be given in marriage.
It was not a coincidence that the most eligible person selected
by the priestly leadership was also a Davidian prince. For
the Jews, there was no greater hope by any young Jewish female
but to be chosen to be the mother of the Messiah. Every
young male
and female
that were eligible as princes or princesses of King David were recognized
as “special”
and eligible to be “chosen” as the parents of the long awaited Messiah of Israel.
We see how critical this was when we read in the
BibleSearcher article, “The
Religious Heritage of Miriam, the Chosen Princess, as the Granddaughter of a
High Priest”, about the family of Prince Joseph who was called
“The
Carpenter”
BibleSearchers – “The family of Joseph was pretty
much destroyed by the year of 6 CE.
The oldest son, Jacob, the Patriarch of Jerusalem was executed
under charges of sedition by King Herod in the year of 23 BCE.
The next oldest brother, Hezekiah the Zealot was executed
by the Romans under charges of sedition and treason for taking
an entire Herodian Jewish military brigade in rebellion to the rule
of Herod the Great in 4 BCE. His
youngest son, Judas of Gamala was executed by
the Romans when he assaulted and took control of a Roman
military fortress in Sepphoris, confiscated the weapons
and ammunition to be used in revolt against the Herodian State of
Judea and Herod’s benefactor and protector, the Empire of
Rome. He was captured, the town of Sepphoris was destroyed,
the Jewish people were sold in captivity and 2000
Jewish freedom fighters were killed on 2000
crosses that dotted the Galilean landscape.
The life of Joseph after his betrothal to
the “temple virgin” the orphaned
Miriam, whose father was also executed by Herod on charges
of sedition against the Herodian state, made Joseph virtually
as a member of the Jewish underground. He fled with his
wife, Miriam, and now newborn son, Yehoshua (Jesus) to Egypt. He
lived an obscure life in the backwater regions in the unknown
village of Nazareth in the first to third decade of the new
Roman era. Prince Joseph then virtually disappears
from all historical record.
That is not surprising for most of his family
disappeared also, all with the appearance of being in rebellion
to the Herodians and the Romans. And we are surprised that today
when all Christendom thinks that it was unusual for Jesus
to have been crucified on a Roman cross? His family, it
was expected to be. The difference; the historical
roots of the crucifixion and death of the Jewish
messiah, Yehoshua was that he was betrayed, captured, illegally
questioned, tried, and sentenced to death by his own Zadokian cousins,
who had fallen under the spell of Hellenism and the lust of
power, greed and control. Yehoshua was hated by the Pharisees of Shammai, whose founder,
Shammai the Great, was the last pure blooded
Jewish Prince of David. What was not known was that Prince
of David Shammai was deposed as the Patriarch of Jerusalem by Herod
the Great in favor of the father of Joseph the Carpenter, Prince
Jacob ben Matthan. Jacob was the “impure-blooded
Jewish Prince of David” of the “bastard” lineages
of foreign ancestral mothers.” Shammai was a
“pure blood” but after his
death, his lineage became extinct.

There were two Jewish families, both of royal Davidian
bloodlines, but how dissimilar they were. As quoted:
BibleSearchers – “The family of Joseph, the foster father of
Jesus, came from a family of royal Davidian princes, all
of whom carried the hidden dream of being the Promised One,
or the father of the Promised One who would sit on the seat
of their ancestral forefather, King David. In contrast, Mary’s
family lived in the aura of the majesty and beauty of the temple
culture of the Jews in Jerusalem. Joseph’s father flirted
with the royalty from Egypt, to Rome, and to Babylon, from
Davidian, Maccabean to Herodian, yet he knew that to capture
the “hidden” love and devotion of the Jewish population, any
ruler had to carry the mantle and the genetic birthright of King
David.
Miriam’s
family on the other hand, was from a family dynasty of
priests. Equally regal and powerful, they carried the mantle
of spiritual power, while Joseph’s family carried the regnal
mantle of temporal power. Clothed in the regalia
of the high priests, this family stood above the temporal
power of the Davidian aspirants. They alone, evoked the
very power of the Almighty One of Israel when yearly at
the festivals of Passover, Pentecost, and Succot, they transported
mentally and emotionally the Jewish pilgrims to the very portals
of heaven and the throne of the God
of the Universes.
The golden vestments of the High
Priest, the breastplate, the august miter and headpiece, the prophetic
oracular stones of the Urim and the Thummim, there was not a
mantle of clothing, not even the vestments of the Caesar
of Rome that excelled in beauty, wonder, and awe. The
regalia of the high priest were zealously guarded by the Maccabee
rulers, Herod the Great, his Herodian successors and the Romans
governors as proof they had some authority over the high
priest of God. But the regalia and the Golden Robe of
the High Priest may only have been a replica.”
Is it any wonder that Joseph the Carpenter
was poor, for he was always on the run, working at jobs
far away from Jerusalem and the long arm of the assassins
of King Herod? Yet, by tradition, Joseph also met a premature
death. He was already twenty two years
old
when he was betrothed and married to the Jewish twelve or thirteen
year old maiden, Princess Miriam. Was this by an illness? We do not
know. Was this because Joseph was also assassinated by the Herodian
forces in power, we do not have any documentation for or against
either?
What has now been uncovered
by the timeless research by the noted Jewish
royal genealogist, David Hughes, was that Jesus’ maternal great-grandfather,
Yahshua III became the 59th high
priest
of the Temple of Herod between the years of 36-23
BCE.
It was during the pogrom and assassination of Jesus’
paternal grandfather, Patriarch of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan in 23 BCE that was also the same
year in which the office of the High Priest was taken away
from Yahshua III and given to one of his second
cousins
of the High Priest Family of Boethus, Simon IV ben Boethus. King Herod became
infatuated and “lost his mind” in love with
the daughter of Simon, Mariamme II, for she was
recognized to be the most beautiful woman in Jerusalem.
To make such a royal
wedding acceptable in Jewish aristocratic society, Simon’s position in
life was elevated to become the new high priest, and
the High Priest Yahshua III disappears from history, to make room for a
new high priest of Israel. Besides the death of the Jewish Patriarch
of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan, the father of Joseph the Carpenter, we find that the
High Priest of Israel, Yahshua III also disappears
from history all in that same year (23 CE) that Heli,
Prince Alexander III Helios was assassinated. What could have been
the source of the trumped up charges of the two
Davidian family patriarchs and the high priest that could have implicated
all three Jewish leaders in the same year for sedition to the
throne of King Herod? Whereas Prince Heli was also the son-in-law
of the High Priest, it suggests that they both were both killed
for the same reason and were probably in collusion with
the Patriarch of Jerusalem Jacob ben Matthan.
With the death of His
foster father, Yosef (Joseph), Yahshua (Jesus) was now an orphan with no father
or grandfather, and eligible to have been taken into the custody
of his family’s next kin. The most eligible next of kin was the half-brother
of Heli, Joseph of Arimathea, in Miriam’s
side
of the family. That Joseph was also gone for many months
of the year on business we have to ask, did Joseph of
Arimathea assume the role as the male guardianship of the young
future Messiah? If so, did he take the young Yahshua
on his business trips with him to the Isle of Britannia
and beyond? The answer is a resounding yes!
According to popular
tradition, Jesus lived in the Galilean village of Nazareth
and grew up as an apprentice to the guild of carpentry
or master craftsman before taking on the rabbinic
ministry in the districts surrounding the Sea of Galilee. The village
of Nazareth
was only a few miles away from Capernaum, Sepphoris, and Cana. Yet, there
are no historical clues that Jesus lived there, worked there, or established
a presence in that city, so near to his family dwellings
at Nazareth.
It was near the year of 26 CE, when at the age of
thirty two or thirty three, Yahshua showed up one day in the city of Capernaum
with his disciples, not as a person that was an acquaintance
with this larger and more cosmopolitan town. Upon arrival, his leading
disciple, Peter, was inquired with the question:
Matthew 17:24-25 – “When
they had come to
Capernaum, those who received the “double
drachma”
tax came
to Peter and said, ‘Does your Teacher not pay the tax? He said,
“Yes”. And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him
saying, ‘What do you think, Simon? From whom
do the kings of the earth take
customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers? Peter said to Him
“from strangers.”.

It appeared that Jesus was
not recognized by the customs officials, and as a stranger to
this city, was due the payment of a “stranger’s
tax” called the Roman
poll tax for foreign traders and merchants coming into the city.
The facts were that the customs officials were certain that Jesus
was a Jew so were not attempting for him to pay the Temple
tax that would have been paid with a Temple
shekel,
but that he was a foreigner and not recognized as being of
indigenous birth to this region so had to pay his stranger’s tax
with a Greek stater.
It was a few weeks later,
when Yahshua presented Himself at the Jordan River to His
cousin, John the Baptizer. They both had grown up near to each
other, and both seemed to be participants in the culture of
the secretive Essenes, whose main headquarters were in Damascus
or about fifteen and a half miles east of Jerusalem, in the Essenes
commune
near the Dead Sea called, Khirbat Qumran.
During this meeting
by the Jordan River, it was John who proclaimed, “Behold the Lamb of
God.”
Yet, later, John appeared uneasy about his cousin’s identity and His
mission of life. It had the appearance that he had not seen
him in many years, so after the baptism, John sent two
disciples
to Yahshua (Jesus) to inquire:
Luke 7:20 – “When the men had come to Him,
they said, ‘John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are
You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
Yet, near to this same
time, the disciple Nathaniel, whose residence was in
the village of Cana,
only five miles from Nazareth, and before he
saw Jesus, he proclaimed:
John 1:45-48 – “Can any good come out of
Nazareth?”
There was the appearance
that even living five miles away from Nazareth in
the city of Cana, Nathaniel had not heard of Him or recognized
Him also suggesting that Yahshua (Jesus) was returning as
a stranger in His own land.
The Historical Traditions of Jesus’ Early Life
Of all the traditions of
Jesus, the most mysterious is the absence of where He
lived, worked, learned, and studied during the formative years
of His life. It is as though Roman Christianity wanted its believers
to believe that Jesus’ life, starting with His incarnation
at birth gave Him immediate understanding of the universe,
the mysteries of the throne of His Father in heaven, and a
complete understanding of His mission and purpose on this planet
earth.

Gnostic Church began its Apostate Roots in Rome – Photo by Robert

The Jesus that has come
down in Christian history has been devoid of a clear
understanding of these formative years, and as BibleSearchers has
carefully documented in the history of the “Jewish Nazarene
Ecclesia” and the “Royal Davidian,
Maccabee, and Levitical ancestors
of Jesus” we have found that
the defending silence of history was only a twisted historical
tale of the life of Yahshua (Jesus) as a Prince of King
David. It was in reality a cover-up to present a Messiah
to the world from the viewpoint of the emerging Roman
Christian Church, a view that had minimal historical basis
but for the creedal Roman Christian doctrines that were imposed
around a fabricated history of the most important person
in human history.
It has been only in recent years
that credible scholars have begun the responsible task of returning
the Jewishness back into the life of Yahshua (for “Jesus”
was never His name in 1st century Judea). The orthodox
Jewish life of Yahshua (Jesus) was stripped from His true historical
life. Only recently has the knowledge that Yahshua was a Prince
of David
and the implication of that one fact upon a person in
1st century Jewish culture.
The common belief was that Yahshua
(Jesus) grew up illiterate, probably unschooled in Torah law, and no doubt did not read, write or communicate except in Aramaic, the language
of the common people in Judea and Galilee. Surely He did not speak Latin,
Greek,
and Hebrew.
We rather should begin to question, does historical
Orthodox Roman Christianity really believe in the historical Jewish rabbi,
as Yahshua ben Yosef HaMaschiach Yisra’el (Jesus
son of Joseph, Messiah of Israel)?
The historical
traditions of Yahshua (Jesus) give credence that there was
a true historical traditions of where He lived during the formative
years of His life in many parts of this earth besides Judea
and Galilee. In Egypt there are strong Coptic
Christian traditions that Yahshua was there as a babe and as a young
child. The pilgrims today can visit the sites of where
He lived and played as a child.
The Buddhist
Traditions of Jesus, as Issa (Essene), who spent Years in Northern India
Ministering among the Buddhists
There are also equally fascinating
traditions that Jesus as “Iesus” traveled to India and there lived
and ministered among the ancient Buddhists within that land
of great antiquity. As we shall soon see, the “The
Buddha”
called the
“Great Hermit’s” real name was “Saca-Mundi”. This revealed his real identity,
a “Sacae-Suni” or a “son of
Isaac”.
The revelation that Buddha
was a true Israelite, a member of the Lost
Tribes of the House of Israel
that had been dispersed into the land of Media, should give pause
that Yahshua could have traveled to the Ladkh Province in Northern
India in search of the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel”. As
testimony will later attest, many of the Lost Tribes migrated
to the east into the continents of India and China
beyond.
What is so
interesting
about these links are that facts that the Essenes, that secretive
and mysterious Jewish sect, had apparent ties and presence
with the Theurapeutics in the land of Egypt to the south, and also had ties
with the Buddhists to the east in India. This may
have suggested that the Essenes had a strong messianic and apocalyptic missions
to reach out to the “Lost Tribes” that were hidden
in the countries of India and Egypt.
We then connect with the ties that
Yahshua had with his own cousin, John
the Baptiser,
who many scholars also suggest was raised or at least trained
at the Essene community at Khirbat Qumran. The biblical hint
of his ascetic lifestyle of wilderness living suggests such an association.
The British Culdee Traditions of the Boy Jesus with Joseph of
Arimathea
Yet most fascinating and mysterious
of all the legends of the childhood of Jesus, are not found
in the early Christian “infancy stories” of the Christ
Child
that arose in early Roman orthodoxy, but within the Jewish Nazarene
and British Culdee traditions, that Jesus, as a child,
traveled to the Isle of Britannia with his uncle, Joseph
of Arimathea,
as he traveled on business as a Roman decurion. He was an authorized
metal merchant that was extracting, processing, and smelting lead
and tin into ingots along the Cornwall coast of southwestern
England today. The traditions are not proof of true historical
documentation, but the weight of evidence is so compelling
that it cannot be ignored. So we begin on a fascinating journey,
did Jesus travel to the western coast of the Isle of
Britannia
when
He was a young lad?
It was probable that Yahshua’s
great uncle, Joseph
at his residence at Arimathea, had many lengthy
conversations with his great nephew, about the ancient tribes if
Israel and their final resting place in Europe, especially upon
the Isle of Britannia. Joseph could have told his prodigious
nephew about the famous universities of religion and science
by the Druids, whose roots harkened back to the ancient Priesthood of
Shem. It was there, in the western part of the Isles
where he traveled on his business as a metal merchant to
the far off island of Britannia, that the most ancient and purest
of this ancient priesthood resided.
Yet, there were even more
mysteries and secrets that his famous uncle, an esteemed elder of
the Great Sanhedrin, a member of the Roman
Provincial Council of Judea under the rule of the Governor of Rome Pontius
Pilate,
would teach the young Yahshua (Jesus). He learned about the great
divisions between the Pharisees and the Sadducees and between
the Pharisees of the School of Hillel with over three hundred and
fifty debates
with the Scholl of Shammai. They even fought over their custodial
role as the guardians of the Written Torah given by Moses
on Mount Sinai and also the guardians of not only the Oral
Torah, but also the Oral Torah. These great divisions were tearing
apart the heart and sole of Pharisee Judaism and causing
great rifts and social fragmentation in the land of Judea.
The disciples of Hillel along
with their Master, Rabbi Hillel were now clashing with the disciples,
in opposition with another Nasi, or Prince of the House
of David, Shammai the Great, for they were arch-conservatives and wanted
to separate the Jews from any contact or relationship with the gentiles.
Menahem the Essene was the assistant, the Bet Av
Din
of the Great Sanhedrin, of the Nasi or
President of the Sanhedrin, Hillel
the Great. Menahem was a great and esteemed leader
of Judaism in Judea who eventually had to flee for his life
with his disciples and many of the disciples of Hillel and
established the Essene headquarters in Damascus outside the reach
of the Sadducees and the Pharisees of Shammai in Jerusalem. These
historical traces give a rich tapestry enhancing the breadth
of understanding of the verbal halakhic debates between Rabbi
Yahshua
and the Pharisees in Jerusalem.
The liberal
Pharisees
of the esteemed School of Hillel came to the conclusion,
as did Jesus the Nazarene that it was important to accommodate
a closer relationship with the gentiles in order to spread
and disseminate the teachings of the Creator of the Universe. These
teachings were for the 70 nations of the world and
not just for the Jews. It was the plan of salvation
and redemption that the God of Israel would plant the rebellious
tribes of Israel into the 70 nations of the earth. Using them as
a vehicle for His salvation, He would bring these lost
tribes, who had lost their identity, back into a covenanted
relationship with Him and through them, draw all men back to Himself.
This was the purpose of the Messiah; to seek the “Lost Sheep of the House
of Israel”, and open the doors back, for them,
into the “pasture” of His Father in heaven.

During this era, we find the historical
ties of Yahshua with the disciples of Menahem the Essene the Bet Av
Din
(Vice President) of the Great Sanhedrin in Jerusalem
under the leadership of the Prince of David as the Nasi
(President) of the Sanhedrin, Hillel the Great. This dynamic
and deadly era of conflict within the Party of the Pharisees was documented
by the BibleSearchers research titled, “Jesus the Pharisee from the School
of Beit Hillel in the eyes of the Talmudic Scholar Rabbi Jacob
Emden.”
BibleSearchers wrote in the 2006
research
on the studies of the great Talmudist Rabbi Jacob
Emden.
It was he who affirmed that Jesus the Nazarene believed that the gentiles
also had a right for an inheritance in the world to come.
BibleSearchers - What Rabbi Emden did
come to realize in his study in the mid-18th century, was that Jesus the Nazarene took an ancient
Jewish law that certain Gentiles also had an inheritance in the “world
to come” and put it into action as His mission to the Gentile
world. This God-given inheritance had been cast aside by
part of the schools of the Pharisees. It was never-the-less accepted
by the rabbinic sage and Sanhedrin president (Nasi) Hillel the
Elder and his disciples. There was also evidence
that they, neither Jesus nor Paul violated any of the 613 commandments given to the Israelites at Sinai but by
implementing these ancient “seven commandments of the Sons of Noah” enhanced the Torah ideal that the Jews were given the responsibility
to be a “light to the world.”
The motives for the conflicts
between the Shammai and the family of Yahshua are quite
complex. Historically we do know that for a short time Shammai forcibly usurped
the office of the “Prince of Israel” only to have this
powerful Davidian office as the Patriarch of Jerusalem taken away from
him one year later by King Herod and given to his
prime Davidian rival, Prince Jacob ben Matthan. We must carefully
remember
that Jacob ben Matthan was the father
of Joseph the Carpenter and the grandfather of Jesus
the Nazarene. The potential of a smoldering resentment by Shammai
the Elder against the family of Rabbi Yahshua may give
much insight into the tensions and conflicts between the Nazarene
and the Pharisees of the School of Shammai.

World Era will Transfer from the Roman-Islamic Era to a Hebrew Messianic Era – Photo

Into this
political and religious divide strode the young Jewish
rabbi of Galilee, who had been gone from Judea and Galilee for several
years. By this time the synagogues and Jewish educational system
of Jerusalem and all Judea was under the control of
the Pharisees of School of Shammai. Representing the voice
of the Lord through the Pharisee disciples of Hillel
the Great, who had escaped to Damascus before Yahshua’s
(Jesus’) birth, is it any wonder that this young rabbi who
was proclaimed by a swelling tide of messianic
tidings in Galilee and Judea, was immediately attacked by
the Pharisee disciples of Shammai? This conflict was
with “The Jews”, who were not the Jewish
people, but the Pharisees of the School
of Shammai and the Sadducees high priestly families, led by
the House of Hanan whose Patriarch
was Ananias the High Priest. But, where had this young
Jewish rabbi come from? Where had He been since He was
a child?
He was well
known, for He was a Prince of David, and all of the Princes
of David were well known. As a child, He had been questioned
about His knowledge of the Torah and interrogated as to His
understanding of His destiny as a Prince of David, by the Chief
Elders and Chief Priests who were members of the Great
Sanhedrin. Yet, He disappeared for years. He was not
known or remembered in recent years in Sepphoris. He was
not known or remembered in Cana. He was
not known in but remembered for having been in Nazareth,
for He had not been around for a very long time. The mystery of the eighteen
lost years in the life of Yahshua continued to haunt every scholar
and researcher.
