Letter to the official world war II museum in Louisiana

 I recently read the article on your website on the Holocaust. I would estimate that at least 90% of it is outright propaganda. It seemed to list myth after myth after myth much of which came from Russian propaganda post world war II there's no factual support for any of it. The articles particularly weak and that it cites no references. 

Particularly appalling are well known myths appearing in the article such as the use of diesel engines for gassing

Witness testimonies by German officials regarding these vans are characterized either by their lack of any concrete knowledge about them, if their existence was admitted, or by an outright denial that such devices ever existed. The IMT Nuremburg protocols mention at least 63 affidavits affirming that no such vans ever existed in German units

Another error is representing the pictures of starving camp victims at liberation as normal state when in fact it was the Allies who bombed the supply lines and caused massive starvation across Germany both in camps and outside. There was not one mention of the typhus outbreaks and how that was responsible for much of the deaths in the camps. And of course the numbers were completely baseless without any evidence whatsoever. Modern attempts include:

     In May 2002, Fritjof Meyer, a journalist with the influential German newsmagazine Der Spiegel, published an article titled “Die Zahl der Opfer von Auschwitz. Neue Erkentnisse durch neue Archivfunde” (The Number of Victims of Auschwitz: New Findings in the Light of Newly-Discovered Documents) in the German scholarly journal Osteuropa. Meyer estimated the number of people murdered in Auschwitz to approximately 510,000. (Whereas the plaque at the camp first stated 6 million then 4 million then 2 million deaths)

Some sections were done better such as explaining how the ghettos worked.

There were terrible errors of omission like not explaining that krystallnacht was in response to a Jew assassinating Ernst vom Rath.

As you are the official world war II museum you should strive to do better and not simply put out propaganda.
